Animation Lesson 2
Timing and spacing, Giving or taking away force from the object.
Here you see a ball moving across the scene with regular spacing between the keys
the motion is smooth but it's not what we are looking for. Lets add a little fade on
both sides
Adding a little fade on each side gives the inertia effect in the begining and a smoother ending
the terms used are easing in and easing out
The key point to notice here is that all of the objects
start and end at the same time.
now to the main part of this lesson. object A, B and C take the same amount of time, this is the timing of the animation
timing is a very important part of animation, timing decides how long the animation is going to be. spacing decides
how the motion (during that time) is presented. Using stick figures to learn the movements is really helpful
Lets study this animation of a person punching a bag(continue to lesson 3)
